Rowlands head office has relocated to the heart of Brisbane’s CBD facing the Brisbane river, therefore required a modern fit out to keep within the feel of the Golden Tower.

Working in such a prestigious location, the challenges included keeping the site logistics moving within the constraints of the allowed delivery times whilst working in the heart of Brisbane city and understanding the impact general construction would have to the tenants in the floors above and below. With these factors in mind, together with our site team and contractors, we developed a programme which enabled us to deliver this project without any interruptions logistically and minimising the impact of construction throughout the build.

Working closely with the design team and the client in order to understand the vision of the final handover, delivering this project included major updates of all services and the data networks, meeting rooms, utilities areas, a large boardroom, breakout rooms and a large workstation area.

Natural plants and lighting were used throughout the floor to create a fresh working environment.

This project was successfully delivered by Edgecorp Constructions on time and on budget achieving all facilities, management and client outcomes and objectives.
